FIRST IMPRESSIONS Most people's first impression of Dick Grayson is that he is a confident and charismatic person who is always smiling. He is known for his charm, wit, and outgoing personality, which often make him the life of the party. (Getting to know him on a deeper level reveals that he's not actually quite as chipper as he tries to appear, but that's certainly the first impression.)

Additionally, Dick comes across as very friendly, kind, compassionate and empathetic, with a strong sense of justice and a desire to help those in need. He has a deep sense of loyalty to his friends and family, and is willing to put himself in harm's way to protect them.

Despite his wealth, Dick also comes across as very grounded and unpretentious. He doesn't care about flashy displays and tends to spend most of his time with people who weren't raised with the kind of resources he has. He's also incredibly generous with both his time and his money, and doesn't expect anything in return for a gift.

Maybes: Bruce Wayne, Jason Todd, other members of the Batfamily. The Batfamily tree is complicated (e.g., Babs is Dick's girlfriend, but also kind of a child to Bruce and a mother/sister to Cassie). I'm cool with a ship if everyone is grown and we're going with one of the less familial versions of their relationship (e.g., sometimes Dick is on his own when Jason shows up, sometimes they're siblings; sometimes Dick is Bruce's teenage "ward" who already has a dad and doesn't want a new one, sometimes Dick is Bruce's 8 year old son). But I'm not interested in a ship that leans into a sibling or parent/child dynamic.
Cross-Canon: Open to anyone he has chemistry with. Multiverse or mixed canon sources all okay. And watching the Harley Quinn show made me kind of want to write him with Harley or Ivy.
